CIMIER supports young racing talent, Julien Apothéloz 

CIMIER is proud to count Swiss racing driver Julien Apothéloz as friend of the brand. After TCR and GT4 in Germany, the winner of the 2018 "AutoScout24 & Cupra Young Driver Challenge" now runs his second season in GT3. The young racing talent is currently racing for Team Landgraf Motorsport, one of the most successful Mercedes-AMG GT3 racing teams.  

Performance, precision, ambition and team-spirit. These are the words that sum up the driving forces behind this partnership…  

And if many car aficionados like to personalize their own car and to develop an understanding of their engine, Julien Apothéloz was able to bring his own touch to the Big Matic by Cimier, personalizing his own model and assembling it in the frame of an exciting day at the Watch Academy.

In partnership with Juwelier Leicht, we set up our workshop in the enchanting setting of the Althoff Grandhotel Schloss Bensberg overlooking the bay of Cologne in Germany.

During this memorable weekend blending gastronomy, relaxation and watchmaking initiation, participants were able to discover the secrets of Swiss mechanical watchmaking. After selecting the components to personalize their own Royal Skeleton by CIMIER, they assembled their timepiece.

They left with the pride that the mechanical watch on their wrist is not only unique, but created by their own hands. Time well spent!

The Watch Academy brought its "Watchmaking Bubble" and Photobus to Bahnhoff Platz in Bern, Switzerland.

On this overcast Saturday, we had a great time showcasing the Watch Academy by CIMIER workshops and had great conversations about Swiss watchmaking with the people of Bern!

Every effort to better our environment matters no matter how small. Today, the Watch Academy by Cimier is broadening its offer by adding new straps made of high-quality eco-friendly materials such as paper or cork. The idea is to offer clients a choice that is both sustainable and attractive.

For instance, Cork is an eco-friendly material in that it is recyclable and biodegradable. It can be produced without cutting down the tree from which it is harvested.

Since 2007, the Zurich Film Festival has been presenting countries which are experiencing a cinematic awakening in its “New World View” category. This year was the turn of France. “As the motherland of cinephilia, France is the largest cinema-going country in the west alongside the USA, producing over 200 films each year and enjoying its own star system”

As an official donor of the 16th Zurich Film Festival, the entire team of Montres CIMIER SA had the pleasure of gathering for the opening of the festival, in the presence of some of its closest partners and ambassadors.
