A strong piece of Swiss watchmaking art from the CIMIER’s MasterArt series. For those who show a great sense of style. Thanks to the CIMIER specialists the ETA 6497-1 hand-wound movement was converted into an automatic movement. Patented: high standards from a unique timepiece of high-quality watch making. For all who enjoy wearing timeless aesthetic pieces encompassing advanced technology.
For one-day classes, the Academy opens at 9:30 am with coffee and croissants. Participants will be welcomed by our General Manager and our Master Watchmaker will introduce the program. Participants choose their preferences from a large choice of high quality components including case, dial, hands and strap – giving each timepiece a unique personal touch.
Once this is done, it’s off to the workshop to begin the assembly process of the movement under the guidance and closest supervision of our watchmakers. Before starting the afternoon, to recharge the batteries, lunch is offered.
After lunch, the participants put on their watchmaker's gown and continue to assemble and finalize their watch. To celebrate the success and effort of the participants, the day closes with a well-deserved aperitif and presentation of certificates and gifts. Participants leave with the pride that the authentic Swiss Made watch on their wrist is not only unique, but created in Switzerland by themselves.
detailsHalf-day classes follow the same format. However your movement will be pre-assembled and the practical part focuses on casing up. Lunch is not included.
The programs are best suitable for adults but no prior technical skills or competences are required. Small workshop groups up to 15 max participants ensure each and everyone receives one-to-one, in-depth instructions.
